Day 5: 12/9/08

While John spent the morning in meetings again, I hit the beach with Ellen and Teri. We lounged most of the morning and then headed over to Buzz’s for lunch. We just happened to run into the guys who were having lunch there as well. They were kind of boring and talking about business, so we kept out own table so we could have all the girl talk we wanted. I really had a lot of fun hanging out with Ellen and Teri and they will forever be 2 of my favorite friends and I hope we’ll all get to hang out together again (and I have seen Teri again already-so happy she and Rich live close to John). Most of the sunshine was gone by the time we got back to the beach, so we headed back to our house to get cleaned up for dinner.

Dinner that night was a BBQ at Alan’s house. It was very casual, burgers and hot dogs, which was a nice change after the big dinners we had been having (although I still ate way too much). Ellen put together a slide show of all the photos she had taken during the trip, which was really fun to watch. John and I walked home along the beach that night and I was feeling very sad that we would only have one more day left in Hawaii.
